GEMSTONES~ A Gift from the Gods
When
I was a child I spotted some sparkling red, green and blue stones set into a
tiny dark figurine at our village hall jumble sale. It turned out that I had
purchased, for about 4p, an ebony Cartier brooch set with rubies, emeralds and
sapphires. Ever since then gemstones of all kinds have fascinated me, a gift from the Gods- along with food!
I'd like to tell you a few things about some of the gem stones we use in Dinny Hall jewellery and every now and I will share with you some of the things I
have learnt about the fascinating world of gemmology.
